The Spy
(Singöspionen) 2015
62-year-old detective inspector Solbritt Andersson and her husband Rune have finally realized their life’s dream of acquiring a summer house on the island of Singö in Roslagen, Stockholm county. A neighbour tells them the story of an unsolved murder that happened nearby in 1986 at the now sealed off Singö costal artillery base, closely after the murder of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme. Despite the heavy presence of guards on the base, the killer slipped away and left no trace.
To the dismay of her husband, curiosity gets the better of Solbritt, and she dives deeper into the circumstances surrounding the unsolved murder.
However, Detective Andersson doesn’t realise what she has set in motion, and soon she is attracting those who will do anything to stop her from finding out the truth.
Said About The Spy
”Stämningen som fanns i samhället flyttar in spänningen i boken – det gör den levande.”
Magnus Utvik, Gomorron Sverige, SVT
”Boken undviker också ett klichéartat sexistiskt övervåld mot kvinnor, där har de lyckats jättebra.”
Magnus Utvik, Gomorron Sverige, SVT
”Solbritt Andersson är en uppfriskande bekantskap som det skulle vara roligt att fortsätta att umgås med.”
