In the middle of an autumn night, in, a raging fire breaks out amongst Romani caravans and makeshift tents at the Singö campsite. The detective inspector Solbritt Andersson leads the
investigation together with her colleague Lena Karlsson. The arsonist hasn’t left any clues beyond a brown triangle spray painted on a noticeboard.

Within short a farm in the northernmost part of the island is set ablaze. Is there a connection between the two cases, and what could such a connection mean?
Simultaneously, the Police are mapping out the “Singö Spy” and ex-military man Sven Löwengrip’s criminal network. Once again, the past casts a long and eerie shadow across the tranquil island.
